Career

Zhang Beiwen

She was born in China. But she moved to Singapore at the age of 13 and playing for the Singapore National Team.

In 2011, Beiwen is dropped by the Singapore badminton association because she falling out singles in the Singapore open Tournament. After few times Beiwen asked her to come back.

In the 2009 Southeast Asian games, Zhang won the bronze medal as a part of the Singapore National badminton team. After that, she took one year break and did not play in any tournaments.

In 2013 she moved to Las Vegas with her parents, After moving to the United States she won the four-tournament with a single title that includes Yonex Welsh International in Cardiff, Carlton Irish Open International in Dublin, Swiss International in Yverdon Ies Bains, and Yonex USA International in Orlando.

In 2014, Zhang won the first Grand Prix title. She won the 2014 Brazil Open Grand Prix and 2014 Dutch Open Grand Prix.

For Vendsyssel Elite badminton she started to compete in the Danish Badminton League in 2016.

In 2018 she defending the P.V. Sindhu with the score 21-18, 11-21, 22-30 and she also won her first BWF World tour title.
